OT is all about helping people of all ages live their lives to the fullest. Whether it’s a child needing a little extra help at school, an adult overcoming injury, or someone simply facing everyday challenges, OTs can assist with creative solutions. It’s our job to ensure that no matter the obstacle, everyone gets to thrive in their daily lives.

Sean Diehm
Occupational Therapist
Sean has been an active member of the disability community throughout his life, drawing initial inspiration from his brother, a competitive Paralympic swimmer. This experience sparked his passion for Occupational Therapy, leading him to pursue and graduate from James Cook University in the early 2010s.
His career began with a focus on work-related injuries and expanded to assisting injured military personnel transition back into civilian life. Sean transitioned into the world of NDIS in 2017 and has been actively involved in supporting individuals of all ages.
Sean is an accredited OT Driving Assessor and a proactive member of the Australasian ADHD Professional Association (AADPA). He is passionate about supporting the next generation of OT’s and currently provides clinical supervision to OTs across Cairns, Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne.

Sean enjoys life as an avid motorcyclist and self-proclaimed "massive nerd". His hobbies include video gaming, indulging in audiobooks, playing board games, table tennis and spending quality time with his partner and their two adorable Old English Sheepdogs, Harry and Paddington (pictured above).

Jewel Skelly
Social Worker
Jewel is a seasoned social worker with over two decades of professional experience, possessing a deep understanding of the Cairns region and the multitude of services and supports available there.
Her expertise spans the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) as well as community-based services outside of the NDIS framework. Jewel is particularly passionate about supporting adolescents and young adults during crucial transitional periods in their lives.
Her comprehensive knowledge of Centrelink frameworks and eligibility requirements makes her an invaluable resource for teens, young adults, and families navigating these complex systems. Jewel's dedication and expertise ensure she provides exceptional support and guidance to the community she serves.

Jewel is an avid reader and enjoys cooking and baking. She is known to relax watching her favourite British crime show, and loves her two fur babies, Bella and Collie. Jewel holds a voluntary board position with a Cairns based non-for-profit organisation.
